Assessment and migration plan

Database migration to AWS
Fixed-price moves from aging on-premise databases into managed AWS, with a cutover that is rehearsed before it is real.
The database your business depends on is running on hardware you would rather not think about. The warranty lapsed, the operating system is past support, the backups run but nobody has restored from one in years, and the person who originally set it up has moved on. It works, right up until it does not.
Moving it keeps getting postponed, and for a fair reason: the risk is real. A migration done badly means lost data or a day of downtime, and neither is survivable for a business this size. Large consultancies will not take a single-database project, their economics do not work at this scale, and asking your own team to do it on top of their actual jobs is how it ends up half finished.

Off the server in the closet and onto something AWS runs, patches, and backs up for you. Common targets and paths:
We replicate into the new database, run the cutover as a dry run against real data until it is boring, and keep a tested rollback ready. The live window is usually minutes, scheduled when it suits you.
Automated backups, point-in-time recovery, and a documented restore that we perform in front of you rather than assume. Monitoring and alerting so you hear about problems before your customers do.
Managed does not have to mean more expensive. We size the instance and storage to the workload you actually have, not the one the vendor default assumes, and show you what it will cost per month before you commit.
A 30-day post-launch window is included so anything that surfaces in day-to-day use gets handled, with the option of an ongoing support and enhancement plan if you want a partner past go-live.
We learn what you are running, what connects to it, and what is pushing you to move.
A written plan, the target architecture, the risks, a fixed price, and a timeline. No T&M, no surprises.
We stand up the target, replicate your data into it, and rehearse the cutover against real data until it runs clean.
The live switch in a window you choose, with rollback ready. Then your team is trained and gets the documentation to run it.
A post-launch window so anything that surfaces in real use gets handled, with the option to continue on an ongoing support plan.
Migrations are well-trodden ground for us. We have moved production databases many times over, and we copresented on database migration at AWS Summit Los Angeles in 2025 alongside AWS's own Data team. That depth is what makes a fixed price realistic: at this point the surprises are mostly known surprises, and the ones that are not get caught during the assessment rather than during the cutover.
It is also why most of the effort goes somewhere other than the data itself. What makes a migration safe is a cutover rehearsed until it is dull, a rollback that has actually been run, and a restore performed before anyone needs it. You get a senior single point of contact from scoping through handoff, a fixed price quoted before any work begins, and no pressure to replace anything that is working fine.
